Happy Birthday Sophie!!

For Sophie's 1st Birthday today I thought that I would post a few of my favorite pictures that I had of her! I can't believe that she is already one! She is adorable and I wish that I got to see her more often. Happy birthday Soph!!

For Christmas last year I made Sophie a little Olivia blanket and she absolutely loves it! So when I made the pirate one for Chelsea's "little guy's" baby shower and Sophie saw it she crawled right over and was screaming as she held both of them to her face! She is so cute with her love blanket!

The girls with us at our wedding, Mandy was so nervous that she was going to spit up on my dress!

Reading a book with Emma and Sophie, what can I say...I'm a good Aunt!

The Get Fit 5K

This past Saturday Ryan and I ran a 5K race in Placentia with my Dad and had a lot of fun. My dad had been planning on running the race for a while but me and Ryan didn't decide for sure that we were going to run it until the night before so needless to say we weren't prepared at all!! But it was still really fun and I was just proud of myself that I finished it because as I'm sure you all know I am not a runner at all. We got up at 5:45, drove down to my parents house to get ready for the big race (3.1 miles, I know that doesn't sound like much though!) My mom made us all oatmeal and as it was almost done I noticed little black things crawling around in the oatmeal jar so after our second attempt at breakfast we were off the park. About .01 miles into the race Ryan and my Dad took off without me (which was ok because thats what I wanted them to do, I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up!) They stayed together until about the last mile when Ryan's competitive side kicked in and he just wanted to beat people! So he finished up first then my dad and so they were there with my mom waiting for me at the finish line. As I came around to the last strip Ryan came and ran it in with me. Oh and I was so excited about my number, 999! I just thought that it was a cool number to get and Ryan didn't understand why I was so excited about it! Thanks for having us run with you Daddy, we had a lot of fun! Maybe next time I'll be able to keep up with you!

Here is a cute picture with Trixie being very photogenic, right as I took the picture she stopped and looked right at me as she posed...it was so cute!

Valentines Day, Syd's Birthday, and Easter

Here are some pictures from Valentines Day. Ryan was out of town and got home that night so we decided to just get take out and exchange presents at home. The next night we went to celebrate at the Melting Pot in San Clemente. We had so much fun, the food there is awesome! We spent about 3 hours there eating and Ryan was even sweet enough to let me choose the dessert, chocolate and peanut butter of coarse!!

I made Ryan a book, which I was really excited about because it was the first scrapbook that I've done basically by myself (my mom helped a little though!) It was so small but still took me FOREVER to do, but Ryan really loved it and its been on our coffee table since then and people are really impressed that I made it. I'm thinking that mostly because they're suprised that I knew how to do it! And Ryan got me a key chain from Tiffany's which was the perfect gift because I used to have one that I loved and it got lost.

Saturday before Easter was Sydney's birthday so me, Ryan, Syd and her boyfriend Chris went out to dinner at Dukes down in Huntington Beach and then out to Casino Morongo to celebrate her 21st birthday. We had such a fun night and Syd was so excited that I gave her her own drops of heaven! Me and Ryan ended up getting home at around 5 in the morning...the casino is about an hour and a half away! So needless to say we were just a little tired on Easter morning. Oh yes, and if you are interested in knowing we didn't lose any money, I think we walked away about 75 dollars up so it worked out well!
On Sunday morning I made Ryan search around our apartment for his hidden basket, which was pretty hard to hide because really, there aren't that many places here to hid things! And after he found his he told me that he too had gotten me a basket and it was hiding somewhere too. (Ryan found out the day before from Jon that I had made one for him so he ran to the store while I was gone with Mandy and my mom!) We spent the day at Karens house and enjoyed spending time with Ryan's family.
