Its Official...

So Ryan always makes fun of me when I wear my Uggs or drive with my seat heater on all the time telling me that we live in California and it’s not that cold. Well tonight we went out and after dinner we got in the car and Ryan asked how to turn on the seat heater as he was blasting the heat. I explained to him and then glanced over at the thermometer reading 58 degrees! So its official, Ryan is now a Californian! We are really busy right now getting ready for Christmas and trying to decorate which means rearranging all of our furniture so that we can fit a Christmas tree in our apartment! We just got back Saturday from our 7-day cruise down to Mexico. We went with Ryan’s family for Thanksgiving and had so much fun; I'll have to post more about that and some pictures next...

This Weekend

This weekend we stayed at my Aunt Marcia's house with Kenzie and Cooper while they were gone. We pretty much spent the whole weekend playing the wii! It was so much fun, our favorite games were Guitar Hero and Bowling. Ry was way better at guitar hero but I kill evertone at bowling, my high score was 207! The best part was watching my parents play guitar hero, I was impresses with how quick they picked it up. Today I'm leaving for Utah to go visit my sisters leaving Ryan home alone. So I'm sitting at the airport waiting to board the plane and decided I would post a blog. I'll be honest most of the reason was just to see if I could do it from my iPod! But I'm excited to see my sisters and my nieces this week...got to go know or I'll miss my flight!

GRADUATION!

I've finally graduated!!! Today was my last day of school, its so weird that I'm actually done. I got my certificate and my new table so I'm excited to try it out this weekend. We actually had our graduation ceremony the end of september but since they only do it once a year I still got to walk.
I didn't really think that anyone would want to go but I was totally wrong.
Ryan of coarse wanted to go when I told him about it, and My parents were going to be out of town but they decided that they would rather go to my graduation than up to Utah to visit my sisters, which is understandable because I am way cooler than them. Ryan's mom Karen came with his sister Nicole and husband Royal which was so nice of them to drive all the way there to come. And my friends Kat and Sydney definitely didn't want to miss it. It was so nice to have so much support! I had to walk across the stage like 5 times because every award they gave you had to go up on stage to get the certificate and everytime Kat and Syd definitely did thier job and stood up and screamed for me. All my friends from school thought it was pretty funny everytime I walked across because they knew that they girls would be making a scene! And I was informed by them that I had the cutest shoes out of everyone! I'm really excited to be done with school and have a little time off before I start working. My sisters sent me these flowers which were so pretty, it was so nice of them to send them since they couldn't make it that night. It was a fun night but made it a little hard to go back to school the next monday to finish up my hours. But I finished the 9 month program in exactly 10 months which was actually really good considering I took off a month when we got married. So I am now officially a certified massage therapist so if anyone needs a massage you know who to call!

The Happiest Place on Earth

Ryan has been working so hard lately and tons of overtime so today he decided to skip out a little early from work and we went to Disneyland! We were only there for about 2 or 3 hours but it was great because it wasn't crowded at all and all the lines were super short. Here is a picture from the Buzz Lightyear ride, as you can tell I'm not very good at aiming. Ryan pretty much kills me every time. I think it might be because I gave blood today so my aiming arm was injured, I'll just pretend like thats the case anyway.

I also got a call today from Burke Williams offering me the job so I'm really excited about that. I won't be able to start until probably January sometime which is actually kinda nice because then I will have the holidays off. So I'll be spending lots of time studying for both the National Exam and the city testing over the next little while.

A NEW JOB

I had a interview on Tuesday at Burke Williams Day Spa and things went really good so on Wednesday I got to go back for a second interview. For massage, a second interview means actually massaging someone while the person hiring stands in the room staring at you. It was pretty awkward and I felt like I did awful but after the massage the lady said I did great and it seemed like I had been doing this forever. So up next is a phsyical test and then passing the city test for my license. But as long as I pass all the tests then I have the job! I'm really excited about it because it will give me a chance to see how a spa is run and I'll get some great experience and learn a lot. The only bad part is its in Orange at the Block, which isn't too far but there is one in Mission Viejo that is like 10 minutes from us. Overall though I was pretty impressed with myself since this was my first real interview ever and I pretty much was amazing...just kidding! Here are just a few random pictures from this weekend when we went ice skating, I just thought it made it more entertaining!

HALLOWEEN

HAPPY HALLOWEEN
I finally figured out how to post pictures, so I decided to put some of us carving pumpkins the other night with our neighbors Kim and Brian. We kinda cheated and used a stencil, but I thought that the tree was pretty cool. Ryan even scrapped the inside of his pumpkin by himself which was actually a big deal because last year he made me do it because he thinks its gross. I'm pretty sure my turned out the best, but that might just be because its mine. Tonight we're just going to stay home and hopefully we'll have some Trick-or-Treaters...otherwise I'm not sure what I will do with all the candy! I'll post more later when I have more time, I have lots of pictures that I can put up! Oh and we were having a contest with our neighbors to see who made the best pumpkin vote on your favorite!
